일본 기시다 총리 “비자금 스캔들 사과” > 세계

일본의 기시다 후미오 총리가 현직 총리로는 최초로 국회 정치윤리심사회에 출석해 자민당의 '비자금 스캔들'에 대해 사과했습니다.

기시다 총리는 29일 열린 일본 중의원 정치윤리심사회 모두 발언에서 자민당의 정치자금 문제로 정치 불신을 초래한 데 대해 자민당 총재로서 진심으로 사과한다고 말했습니다.
Prime Minister Kishida said in remarks at the Japanese House of Representatives Political Ethics Review Committee held on the 29th that he sincerely apologized as the president of the Liberal Democratic Party for causing political distrust over the LDP's political funds.

또 이번 스캔들에 직접적으로 연루된 것은 아니지만 총리 재임 중에 더 이상 정치자금 모금파티를 개최하지 않겠다고 약속했습니다.
He also promised not to hold any more political fundraising parties during his tenure as prime minister, although he was not directly involved in the scandal.

앞서 자민당 내 일부 파벌은 파티를 주최하면서 '참석권'을 일정 이상 판매한 소속 의원들에게 초과분의 돈을 다시 돌려주는 방식 등으로 비자금을 조성한 혐의로 지난해 12월과 올해 1월 기소된 상태입니다.
Earlier, some factions within the Liberal Democratic Party were indicted in December last year and January this year on charges of creating slush funds by returning excess money to lawmakers who sold "right to attend" more than a certain amount while hosting parties.

국회의원이 '행위 규범'을 현저하게 위반했다고 판단될 경우, 어떤 정치적 책임을 물을지 심사하는 정치윤리심사회에, 현직 총리가 등장한 것은 이번이 처음입니다.
This is the first time a sitting prime minister has appeared in a political ethics review that examines what political responsibility a member of the National Assembly will hold if he or she is deemed to have violated the "norm of conduct."
