조 바이든 대통령과 도널드 트럼프 전 대통령이 어제(27일) 실시된 미국 대선 미시간주 예비선거(프라이머리)에서 각각 압승했습니다.

바이든 대통령은 이날 프라이머리에서 80%가량의 지지를 얻었고, 트럼프 전 대통령도 67%의 지지를 얻으면서 27% 득표에 그친 니키 헤일리 전 유엔 주재 미국 대사를 큰 차이로 앞질렀습니다.
President Biden won about 80% of the vote in the primary, and former President Trump also won 67% of the vote, far outpacing former U.S. Ambassador to the United Nations Nikki Haley, who won only 27%.

미국 언론들은 미시간주 예비선거 결과 오는 11월 대선에서 바이든 대통령과 트럼프 전 대통령의 재대결 구도가 더욱 공고해졌다고 전했습니다.
U.S. media reported that the Michigan primary election has further solidified the rematch between President Biden and former President Trump in the upcoming presidential election in November.

President Biden went on to accuse former President Trump, a leading Republican candidate, of threatening to drag the U.S. further into the past as he pursues "revenge and retribution."

트럼프 전 대통령은 미시간주 프라이머리 결과가 “예상했던 것보다 훨씬 좋다”며 오는 11월 5일 대선 승리를 다짐했습니다.
Former President Trump vowed to win the November 5 presidential election, saying Michigan's primary results were "much better than expected."

한편 이날 미시간주 프라이머리에서는 가자지구 전쟁과 관련한 바이든 행정부의 정책에 항의해 투표용지에 ‘지지후보 없음(uncommitted)’으로 표기한 민주당 유권자 표가 7만8천 표에 달한 것으로 나타났습니다.
Meanwhile, in the Michigan primary, 78,000 Democratic voters voted "uncommitted" on the ballot in protest of the Biden administration's policies regarding the Gaza war.
