일본인이 중국에서 구속됐다고 일본 언론이 전했습니다.
Japanese media say a Japanese man has been arrested in China.
NHK 방송과 교도 통신 등은 오늘(26일) 일본 정부 소식통을 인용해 일본 대형 제약업체인 아스텔라스 제약의 50대 남성 직원이 베이징에서 중국 공안당국에 의해 구금돼 현재 조사를 받고 있다고 보도했습니다.
Citing Japanese government sources, broadcasters and Kyodo News reported today (26th) that a male employee in his 50s at Astellas Pharmaceutical, a large Japanese pharmaceutical company, was detained by Chinese public security authorities in Beijing and is currently under investigation.
자세한 내용은 알려지지 않았지만 이 남성은 스파이 관련 혐의를 받고 있는 것으로 전해졌습니다.
Details are not known, but the man is said to be suspected of spying.
베이징 주재 일본대사관은 이 남성과의 면담을 중국 정부에 요청하는 한편 구체적인 체포 사유를 확인 중입니다.
The Japanese Embassy in Beijing is asking the Chinese government to meet the man, while confirming the specific reason for the arrest.
중국에서 스파이 혐의로 일본인이 구속된 사례는 2015년 이후 최소 17명에 달합니다.
