미국, ‘러시아군 지원’ 중국 기업 5곳 제재 > 세계

미국이 러시아군과 방위산업을 지원했다는 이유로 중국 5개 기업을 무역 제재 리스트에 추가했습니다.
The U.S. has added five Chinese companies to its trade sanctions list for supporting Russian troops and the defense industry.

미 상무부는 28일 ‘커넥 일렉트로닉’(Connec Electronic), ‘월드 제타’(World Jetta), ‘킹 파이 테크놀로지’(King Pai Technology) ‘신노 일렉트로닉스’(Sinno Electronics)등 중국 5개 기업을 제재 대상에 올렸습니다.
On the 28th, the U.S. Department of Commerce put five Chinese companies under sanctions, including Connect Electronics, World Jetta, King Pai Technology, and Sinno Electronics.

이번 조치에 따라 해당 기업과 거래 하려는 미국 기업들은 사전에 미 상무부의 허가를 받아야 합니다.
Under the measure, U.S. companies that want to do business with them must obtain prior permission from the U.S. Department of Commerce.

앨런 에스테베즈 미 상무부 차관은 “오늘 조치는 전세계 기업과 개인에게 러시아를 지원하려 한다면 미국이 이를 차단할 것이라는 강력한 메시지를 보낸 것”이라고 말했습니다.
U.S. Deputy Secretary of Commerce Alan Estevez said, "Today's move sends a strong message to companies and individuals around the world that the U.S. will block Russia if it tries to help it."

백악관 관계자는 “중국이 러시아에 군사 장비를 제공하거나 제재를 체계적으로 회피하는 것이 확인되진 않았다”고 말했습니다.
A White House official said, "It has not been confirmed that China has provided military equipment to Russia or systematically avoided sanctions."

따라서 미국이 이들 기업을 제재 명단에 올린 것은 중국과 러시아 관계에 대한 광범위한 우려가 반영된 것으로 보입니다.
So the U.S. list of companies appears to reflect widespread concerns about China-Russia relations.

앞서 미국은 지난 몇달간 중국이 러시아에 군사장비나 지원을 할 경우 강력한 조치를 취하겠다고 경고했습니다.
The U.S. has warned in the past few months that it will take strong action if China provides military equipment or aid to Russia.

한편 중국 외교부 자오리젠 대변인은 29일 미국의 조치에 대해 “소위 군사 및 국방 건설 지원을 이유로 중국 기업을 제재하고 탄압하는 것은 국제법적 근거가 없고, 유엔 안전보장이사회(안보리)의 권한 부여도 없는 독자 제재”라고 비판했습니다.
China's Foreign Ministry spokesman Zhao Li-jen criticized the U.S. action on the 29th, saying, "Sanctions and oppression of Chinese companies for so-called military and defense construction support are independent sanctions without international legal grounds and without the U.N. Security Council's authority."
