North Korean leader Kim Jong Un oversaw the test of a new surface-to-sea missile on Wednesday and visited a major munitions factory, where he called for a boost in weapons production, KCNA said Thursday.

북한이 수요일 동해안에서 여러 차례의 순항미사일을 발사했다고 군 당국이 밝혔습니다. 이는 한국에서 4월 총선을 앞둔 최근 몇 주 동안 있었던 여러 차례의 시험 중 가장 최근의 것입니다.
North Korea launched multiple cruise missiles off its east coast on Wednesday, South Korea's military said, the latest of multiple such tests in recent weeks before an April general election in South Korea.

Kim said South Korea is violating the North's sovereignty by insisting on a "Northern Limit Line" (NLL), the maritime demarcation line between the two Koreas, state media KCNA said.

Kim gave orders to strengthen military readiness in the waters north of Yeonpyeong Island and to the west of the Korean Peninsula, in the region of the NLL, KCNA said.

"서해에 몇 개의 선이 존재하는지는 중요하지 않습니다 ... 적이 우리가 인식한 해상 경계선에 침입할 때 우리는 그것을 북한의 주권 침해이자 북한에 대한 무력 도발로 간주할 것입니다"라고 조선중앙통신은 말했습니다.
"It is not important how many lines exist in the West Sea of Korea ... when the enemy intrudes into the maritime border recognized by us, we will regard it as an encroachment upon the sovereignty of the DPRK and an armed provocation against it," Kim said, according to KCNA.

파다수리-6 또는 "시 이글-6"이라고 불리는 이 새로운 미사일은 바다 위를 날아 의도된 목표물에 명중했다고 조선중앙통신이 덧붙였습니다.
The new missile, called Padasuri-6, or "Sea Eagle-6," flew over the sea and hit its intended target, KCNA added.

김 위원장은 군수공장도 시찰하고 생산 현대화에 대해서도 자세히 배웠다고 관영매체가 전했습니다.
Kim also inspected a munitions factory and learned in detail about the modernization of production, the state media said.
