국무부 “블링컨 장관, 왕이 부장과의 모든 대화에서 북한 문제 제기” > 정치

미 국무부가 중국에 북한 문제를 거듭 제기하고 있다고 밝혔습니다.
The U.S. State Department has repeatedly raised the issue of North Korea to China.

매튜 밀러 국무부 대변인은 29일 정례브리핑에서 대북 제재를 위반하는 중국에 대한 추가 제재 여부를 묻는 질문에 “블링컨 장관이 왕이 중국 외교부장과 가진 모든 대화에서 북한의 활동을 제기해왔고, 앞으로도 계속 그렇게 할 것”이라고 말했습니다.
Asked at a regular briefing on the 29th whether to impose additional sanctions on China that violate sanctions on North Korea, State Department spokesman Matthew Miller said, "Secretary Blinken has raised North Korea's activities in all talks with Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi, and will continue to do so."

[밀러 대변인] “I can tell you that in every conversation the Secretary has had with his Chinese counterpart Wang Yi, he has raised North Korea's activities and he will continue to do so, and I don't want to preview any further actions.”
[Miller's spokesman] "국무장관이 왕이 중국 국가주석과 나눈 모든 대화에서 북한의 활동을 제기했으며 앞으로도 그럴 것이며, 더 이상의 행동을 미리 보고 싶지 않다는 것을 말씀드릴 수 있습니다."

다만 대중국 제재와 관련해서는 “추가 조치를 예단하고 싶지 않다”고 선을 그었습니다.
However, regarding sanctions against China, he drew a line, saying, "I don't want to predict additional measures."

밀러 대변인은 앞서 지난해 12월 북한의 탄도미사일 발사 직후 이뤄진 북중 고위급 회담과 관련해 “블링컨 장관이 지난 6개월간 중국 측 대화 상대와 논의한 것 중 하나는 북한의 핵 야망 억제를 위해 중국이 할 수 있는 건설적인 역할이 있다고 믿는다는 것”이라고 밝히기도 했습니다.
Regarding the high-level talks between North Korea and China, which took place shortly after North Korea launched a ballistic missile in December last year, Miller said, "One of the things that Secretary Blinken has discussed with his Chinese counterpart over the past six months is that he believes China can play a constructive role in curbing North Korea's nuclear ambitions."
