중국 군용기 2대가 26일 한국과 중국 방공식별구역이 겹치는 공역에 진입했습니다.

한국 합동참모본부는 중국 군용기 2대가 각각 오전 10시 30분과 11시 10분경 이어도 남서쪽의 한국 방공식별구역(KADIZ)에 진입한 뒤 정오경 이탈했다고 27일 밝혔습니다.
South Korea's Joint Chiefs of Staff said on the 27th that two Chinese military aircraft entered the Korean Air Defense Identification Zone (KADIZ) southwest of Ieodo at 10:30 a.m. and 11:10 a.m., respectively, and left around noon.

2대 가운데 1대는 오후 3시경 다시 방공식별구역에 진입해 30분가량 머물렀으나, 영공 침범은 없었다고 합참은 설명했습니다.
One of the two entered the air defense identification zone again around 3 p.m. and stayed for about 30 minutes, but there was no invasion of airspace, the JCS explained.

이날 중국 군용기가 진입한 곳은 한국 방공식별구역과 중국 방공식별구역이 겹치는 곳이었습니다.
The place where Chinese military aircraft entered was where the Korean Air Defense Identification Zone and the Chinese Air Defense Identification Zone overlapped.

합참 관계자는 군용기 진입 전부터 F-15전투기 등이 출동 대기태세를 갖추는 등 일상적인 전술 조치를 취했다고 밝혔습니다.
A JCS official said that even before entering the military aircraft, F-15 fighters and others took routine tactical measures, such as preparing to be dispatched.

Austin will meet with South Korean Defense Minister Lee Jong-sup on the 31st to discuss various alliance issues, including policy cooperation with North Korea and strengthening its ability to implement expansionary deterrence.
