일본, ‘강제동원’ 한국의 2차 소송 판결에 “매우 유감” > 경제

일본 정부가 21일 일본 강제동원 피해자와 유족들이 일본 기업을 상대로 낸 2차 손해배상 소송에서 승소하자 “매우 유감”이라며 “결코 받아들 수 없다”고 밝혔습니다.

앞서 한국 대법원은 강제동원 피해자와 유족 등 11명이 미쓰비시중공업과 신일철주금, 현 일본제철을 상대로 제기한 손해배상 청구 소송에서 원고 일부 승소 판결한 원심을 확정했습니다.
Earlier, the Supreme Court of Korea confirmed the original ruling that partially won the plaintiff in a lawsuit filed by 11 victims of forced mobilization and their bereaved families against Mitsubishi Heavy Industries, Nippon Steel, and the current Japanese Steel.

이번 판결로 미쓰비시와 일본제철은 피해자 한 명당 1억 원에서 1억 5천만 원의 배상금과 지연 손해금을 지급해야 합니다.
With this ruling, Mitsubishi and Nippon Steel are required to pay 100 million to 150 million won in compensation and delayed damages per victim.

한국 정부는 이와 관련해 ‘제3자 변제’를 적용하겠다는 밝혔습니다.
