미한, 북한 IT 인력 합동주의보 발표…신분 위장 등 수법 제시 > 경제

미국과 한국 당국이 신분과 국적을 숨기고 취업하는 등 북한 IT 인력의 활동 행태를 분석하고 주의를 강화하는 합동주의보를 공동으로 발표했습니다.
The U.S. and South Korean authorities jointly issued a joint warning to analyze the activity behavior of North Korean IT personnel and strengthen their attention, including hiding their status and nationality.

미국 국무부와 연방수사국(FBI), 한국 외교부와 국가정보원 등이 공동으로 발표한 주의보에는 북한 IT 인력이 신분 위장을 위해 활용하는 수법과 북한 인력 고용을 방지하기 위한 조치 등이 담겼습니다.
The watch, jointly issued by the U.S. State Department, the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI), the South Korean Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the National Intelligence Service, includes methods used by North Korean IT personnel to disguise their identity and measures to prevent North Korean personnel from being hired.

주의보는 고용 대상자가 면접 등에서 부정행위를 한 징후가 관찰되거나, 이력서상의 사용 언어와 출신 지역이 맞지 않는 경우, 급여 지급 관련 계좌정보 대신 다른 지불방식을 요청하는 경우, 회사가 제공하는 물품의 수령 장소로 집 주소가 아닌 화물 운송회사의 전용주소를 제출하는 경우 북한 IT 인력으로 의심할 필요가 있다고 지적했습니다.
The advisory noted that it is necessary to suspect North Korean IT personnel if there are signs of cheating in interviews, if the language used on the resume does not match the region of origin, if you request another payment method instead of the account information related to salary payment, or if you submit a dedicated address of a freight forwarder rather than your home address as a place to receive the goods provided by the company.

미한 양국은 “북한 IT 인력이 해외 각지에 체류하고 국적과 신분을 위장해 일감을 수주하면서 매년 수억 달러에 달하는 외화를 벌어들이고, 이 중 상당 부분이 북한 정권의 핵과 미사일 개발과 통치자금으로 사용된다”고 분석했습니다.
"North Korean IT personnel stay abroad and win orders under the guise of nationality and status, earning hundreds of millions of dollars in foreign currency every year, much of which is used to fund the North Korean regime's nuclear and missile development and governance," both U.S. and South Korea analyzed.
