"북한 석탄 중국으로 밀수출"-니혼게이자이 > 경제

유엔이 금지하고 있는 북한산 석탄이 중국으로 밀수출되고 있다고 일본 언론이 30일 보도했습니다.
Japanese media reported on the 30th that North Korean coal, which is banned by the United Nations, is being smuggled into China.

일본 ‘니혼게이자이’신문은 선박 항적 기록과 인공위성 사진 등을 근거로 이같이 전했습니다.
Japan's Nihon Keizai Shimbun reported this based on ship's track records and satellite photos.

니혼게이자이는 선박자동식별장치(AIS) 기록을 분석해 북한과 관련된 선박 180척 중 50척 이상이 최근 1년 반 동안 석탄을 취급하는 중국의 항구에 입항했다고 보도했습니다.
Nihon Keizai analyzed ship automatic identification (AIS) records and reported that more than 50 out of 180 ships related to North Korea have entered Chinese ports handling coal in the past year and a half.

북한 남포항에서 석탄을 적재한 것으로 보이는 북한 선박이 중국 산둥성 룽커우항으로 직항한 정황도 포착됐습니다.
A North Korean ship, which appears to have loaded coal from Nampo Port in North Korea, was also caught flying directly to Longku Port in Shandong Province, China.

미국의 위성사진 업체 '플래닛 랩스'가 니혼게이자이에 제공한 위성사진을 보면 작년 8월 8일 남포항에는 북한 선박 ‘태평2호’로 추정되는 선박이 석탄을 싣고 정박해 있었습니다.
According to satellite images provided by U.S. satellite photography company Planet Labs to Nihon Keizai, on August 8 last year, a ship believed to be the North Korean ship Taepyeong 2 was anchored with coal.

선박자동식별장치(AIS) 기록에 따르면 이 선박은 다음 날인 8월 9일 남포항에서 출발해 같은 달 13일 석탄을 취급하는 룽커우항에 도착해 26일까지 머물렀습니다.
According to AIS records, the ship departed from Nampo Port on August 9, the next day, and arrived at Longkou Port, which handles coal, on the 13th of the same month and stayed until the 26th.

신문은 석탄 밀수 혐의가 있는 북한 선박 ‘금야’호가 올 4월 남포항과 룽커우항을 오간 사실도 위성사진으로 확인됐다고 보도했습니다.
The newspaper reported that satellite images also confirmed that the North Korean ship "Friday" suspected of smuggling coal traveled between Nampo Port and Longguo Port in April this year.

유엔 안보리는 2017년 대북 제재를 강화하면서 북한의 석탄 수출을 전면 금지했습니다.
The U.N. Security Council imposed a total ban on North Korea's coal exports in 2017 when it tightened sanctions against the North.
