유엔, '아프리카돼지열병 대응 사업' 경기도 대북제재 면제 승인 > 경제

유엔 안보리 대북제재위원회가 한국 경기도의 북한 내 돼지 축사 지원사업에 대한 대북 제재 면제를 승인했습니다.
The U.N. Security Council's sanctions committee on North Korea has approved the exemption of sanctions against North Korea for pig farms support projects in North Korea in Gyeonggi Province, South Korea.

대북제재위는 최근 홈페이지에 공개한 서한에서 인도주의 지원과 관련한 내용을 담은 유엔 안보리 결의 2397호 25항에 따라 경기도의 북한 내 아프리카돼지열병(ASF) 전파를 막기 위한 소독작업과 축사 건립 지원 등 인도적 지원 활동에 대한 제재 면제를 승인한다고 밝혔습니다.
In a recent letter released on its website, the North Korean Sanctions Commission said it would approve sanctions exemptions for humanitarian aid activities, including disinfection work and support for the construction of livestock houses in Gyeonggi-do under UN Security Council Resolution No. 2397 25.

위원회가 북한 반입을 승인한 물품은 총 75만 달러에 달하는소독장비와 축사를 만드는데 필요한 건축자재 등 166개 품목입니다.
The items approved by the committee to be brought into North Korea are 166 items, including disinfectant equipment amounting to $750,000 and building materials needed to make livestock houses.

제재위는 이번 제재 면제 기간이 내년 11월 3일까지라고 밝히면서, 안보리 결의를 통해 취하는 제재 조치는 북한 주민들에게 부정적 영향을 끼칠 의도가 없다고 거듭 밝혔습니다.
The sanctions committee said the sanctions exemption period is until November 3 next year, and reiterated that the sanctions taken through the Security Council's resolution have no intention of negatively affecting North Koreans.
