미국과 러시아 승무원을 태운 미국 민간 우주개발기업 스페이스X사의 로켓이 3일 성공적으로 발사됐습니다.

‘엔데버(Endeavor)’로 불리는 자율운영 방식 ‘크루드래곤(Crew Dragon)’ 캡슐이 탑재된 스페이스X의 2단 로켓 ‘팰컨9’은 미국 동부 시각 3일 오후 10시53분 플로리다주 소재 미 항공우주국(NASA) 케네디우주센터에서 발사에 성공했습니다.
SpaceX's second-stage rocket Falcon 9, equipped with the self-operated Crew Dragon capsule called Endeavor, succeeded in launching at 10:53 p.m. on the 3rd at NASA's Kennedy Space Center in Florida.

팰컨9의 상단부는 발사 9분 뒤 엔데버를 초기 궤도에 진입시켰으며, 엔데버 내부에서 생중계된 영상에는 헬멧을 쓴 미국 승무원 3명과 러시아 승무원 1명의 모습이 담겼습니다.
The Falcon 9's upper end put Endeavour into initial orbit nine minutes after liftoff, and a live video from inside Endeavour showed three U.S. and a Russian crew wearing helmets.

이들은 16시간에 걸친 궤도비행 끝에 내일(5일) 새벽 지구 상공 약 420km를 돌고 있는 국제우주정거장(ISS)에 접속할 예정이며, ISS 내 기존 팀과 임무를 교대하게 됩니다.
After a 16-hour orbital flight, they will access the International Space Station (ISS), circling about 420 kilometers above Earth, early tomorrow (5th), alternating missions with existing teams within the ISS.

러시아 승무원 알렉산더 그레벤킨 씨는 NASA와 러시아 연방우주공사가 2022년 체결한 협약에 따라 미국 우주선에 탑승해 비행한 최근의 우주비행사라고 `로이터’ 통신은 전했습니다.
Russian crew member Alexander Grebenkin is the latest astronaut to fly aboard a U.S. spacecraft under an agreement signed in 2022 between NASA and Russia's Federal Space Agency, Reuters reported.

앞서 엔데버는 2일 발사될 예정이었지만 강풍으로 인해 발사 일정이 하루 연기됐습니다.
Endeavour was previously scheduled to launch on the 2nd, but the launch schedule was postponed by a day due to strong winds.
