일본 사상 최대 114조3천800억엔 예산...방위비 26% 증가 > 세계

일본 정부가 28일 기록적 규모의 새 회계연도 예산안을 확정했습니다.

일본 참의원은 이날 114조 3천800억 엔(미화 약 8천720억 달러) 규모의 2023회계연도 예산안을 통과시켰다고 '교도통신’ 등이 보도했습니다.
Japan's upper house passed a fiscal 2023 budget worth 114.38 trillion yen (US$872 billion), according to Kyodo News.

이는 전년도 보다 6조8천억 엔(521억 달러) 늘어난 것으로, 사상 최대 규모입니다.
This is a 6.8 trillion yen ($52.1 billion) increase from the previous year, the largest ever.

방위예산도 전년도 보다 약 26% 증가한 6조8천200억 엔(521억 달러)으로 사상 최대 규모를 기록하면서 본예산 기준 13년 만에 국내총생산(GDP)의 1%를 넘어섰습니다.
The defense budget also exceeded 1% of GDP in 13 years based on the main budget, reaching a record high of 6.820 trillion yen (US$52.1 billion), up about 26% from the previous year.

이는 일본이 지난해 12월 국가안보전략 개정을 통해 방위비를 2027회계연도까지 GDP의 2%로 늘리기로 결정한 데 따른 것입니다.
This comes after Japan decided in December last year to increase defense spending to 2% of GDP by fiscal 2027 through a revision of its national security strategy.

이와 함께 일본 정부는 물가 상승 완화를 위해 31일 끝나는 2022회계연도 예비비 2조2천200억 엔(169억8천만 달러)을 사용하기로 결정했습니다.
In addition, the Japanese government has decided to use 2.22 trillion yen (US$16.98 billion) in fiscal 2022, which ends on the 31st, to ease inflation.

일본 정부는 또 빠르게 진행되고 있는 고령화를 반영해 총 예산의 약3분의1에 해당하는 36조8천900억 엔(2천821억 달러)을 사회보장 비용 충당에 사용할 것이라고 통신은 설명했습니다.
The Japanese government will also spend 36.89 trillion yen (US$282.1 billion), about a third of its total budget, to cover social security costs, reflecting the fast-growing aging population, the news agency explained.

이를 위해 일본 정부는 약 35조6천200억 엔(2천724억 달러) 규모의 국채를 발행할 예정입니다.
To this end, the Japanese government will issue government bonds worth about 35.62 trillion yen (US$272.4 billion).
