베이징 소재 연구소인 '남중국해 전략태세 감지계획(SCSPI)'은 공개된 선박 항해 정보를 통해 미국의 니미츠급 항공모함인 칼 빈슨 호와 와스프급 강습상륙함 에식스호, 그리고 호위함들이 지난 11일 남중국해에 진입했다고 전했습니다.
The South China Sea Strategic Position Detection Plan (SCSPI), a Beijing-based research institute, said in a released ship navigation information that the U.S. Nimitz class aircraft carrier Carl Vinson, Wasp class landing ship Esix, and escort ships entered the South China Sea on the 11th.

홍콩 ‘사우스차이나 모닝포스트’는 미 해군은 항모타격단과 강습상륙함 전단의 구체적인 계획에 대해 밝히지 않았다며, 이들은 합동 군사 훈련을 진행할 예정이라고 전했습니다.
Hong Kong's South China Morning Post said the U.S. Navy did not disclose specific plans for the aircraft strike squad and the raid ship fleet, and they will conduct joint military training.

앞서 미 해군 항모타격단과 강습상륙함 전단은 지난 2020년 7월, 그리고 2021년 2월 남중국해에서 훈련한 바 있습니다.
