아베 전 일본 총리 국장 엄수...기시다, 납북자 문제 해결 다짐 > 사회

아베 신조 전 일본 총리의 장례식이 27일 도쿄에서 국장으로 치러졌습니다.
Former Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe's funeral was held in Tokyo on the 27th.

이날 아베 전 총리의 장례식에는 카멀라 해리스 미 부통령, 토마스 바흐 국제올림픽위원회(IOC)위원장을 포함한 세계 고위 인사 700여 명이 참석했습니다. 한국에서는 한덕수 국무총리가 참석했습니다.
Abe's funeral was attended by more than 700 world dignitaries, including U.S. Vice President Kamala Harris and International Olympic Committee Chairman Thomas Bach. In Korea, Prime Minister Han Duck-soo attended.

현지 시각 오후 2시 시작된 장례식에서 기시다 후미오 총리와 스가 요시히데 전 총리가 추모 연설을 했습니다.
Prime Minister Fumio Kishida and former Prime Minister Yoshihide Suga delivered a memorial speech at the funeral that began at 2 p.m. local time.

기시다 총리는 아베 전 총리가 미국과의 관계를 “뚜렷하게” 강화했고, 자유롭고 열린 인도태평양을 위한 안보 협력체인 ‘쿼드(Quad)’를 제안한 것 등을 고인의 업적으로 꼽았습니다.
Kishida cited Abe's "clearly" strengthening of relations with the U.S. and his proposal for a "Quad," a security cooperation for the free and open Indian Pacific Ocean, as his achievements.

기시다 총리는 그러면서 아베 전 총리에 이어 1970~80년대 북한에 의해 납치된 일본인 귀환 문제를 해결하겠다고 다짐했습니다.
Prime Minister Kishida also vowed to solve the problem of returning Japanese abducted by North Korea in the 1970s and 1980s, following former Prime Minister Abe.

앞서 아베 전 총리는 지난 7월 일본 오사카 근처 나라현에서 참의원 선거를 앞두고 가두 유세를 하던 도중 전직 해상자위대원이 쏜 총에 맞아 숨졌습니다.
Former Prime Minister Abe was shot and killed by a former Maritime Self-Defense Force member during a street campaign in Nara Prefecture near Osaka, Japan, in July ahead of the upper house election.
