북한이 30일 국제해사기구(IMO)에 5월 31일에서 6월 11일 사이 인공위성을 발사할 예정이라고 예고했다고 IMO가 밝혔습니다.
According to the IMO, North Korea has announced to the International Maritime Organization (IMO) on the 30th that it will launch a satellite between May 31 and June 11.

IMO는 이날(30일) '로이터' 통신에 "북한이 이미 세계항행경보서비스(WWNWS)를 통해 알려진 내용을 포함한 정보를 알리는 이메일을 보내왔다"고 밝혔습니다.
"North Korea has already sent an e-mail informing them of information, including what is known through the World Navigation Warning Service (WWNWS), to Reuters on the 30th."

북한이 IMO에 사전 통지를 보낸 것은 지난 2016년 이후 처음입니다.
It is the first time since 2016 that North Korea has sent advance notice to the IMO.

IMO는 또 북한이 지난 29일 일본 해안경비대에 이와 관련해 항행 경보를 보낸 사실도 확인했습니다.
It also confirmed that North Korea sent a navigation warning to the Japanese Coast Guard on the 29th.

조선중앙통신에 따르면 리병철 조선노동당 중앙군사위원회 부위원장은 군사정찰위성 1호기를 6월에 곧 발사할 계획이라면서 "포괄적이며 실용적인 전쟁억제력 강화 활동을 보다 철저한 실천으로 행동에 옮길 것"이라고 밝혔습니다.
According to the Korean Central News Agency, Ri Byung-chul, vice chairman of the Central Military Commission of the Workers' Party of Korea, plans to launch military reconnaissance satellite No. 1 in June.

앞서 일본 방위성은 북한이 인공위성 발사를 구실로 탄도 미사일을 발사할 가능성이 있다며 자위대에 파괴 명령을 발동한 바 있습니다.
Earlier, Japan's Defense Ministry issued a destruction order to the Self-Defense Forces, saying that North Korea may launch a ballistic missile under the pretext of launching a satellite.
