한국을 방문한 엘리자베스 로젠버그 미국 재무부 테러금융·금융범죄 담당 차관보가 22일 한국의 북 핵 수석대표인 김건 외교부 한반도평화교섭본부장와 만났습니다.
Elizabeth Rosenberg, U.S. Assistant Secretary of State for Terrorism, Finance and Financial Crimes, met with Kim Gun, South Korea's chief nuclear envoy, the head of the Korean Peninsula Peace Negotiation Division, on the 22nd.

한국 외교부에 따르면 양측은 북한이 해외 정보기술(IT) 노동자나 가상화폐 탈취를 통해 핵과 미사일 개발 자금을 확보하려는 것을 차단하는 것이 긴요하다는 데 인식을 같이하고, 이를 위한 구체적인 공조 방안을 협의했습니다.
According to South Korea's Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the two sides agreed that it is important to block North Korea from securing nuclear and missile development funds through overseas IT workers or cryptocurrency theft, and discussed specific cooperation measures.

양측은 대북 제재가 북한의 핵 개발을 단념시킬 효과적인 수단으로 자리매김했다는 데도 공감하고, 북한이 대화를 거부하고 도발적 행동을 계속한다면 국제사회의 제재가 더욱 강화될 수밖에 없다고 강조했습니다.
The two sides also agreed that sanctions against North Korea have established itself as an effective means to deter North Korea from developing nuclear weapons, and stressed that if North Korea refuses to talk and continues provocative actions, international sanctions will be strengthened.

미한 당국은 북한이 7차 핵실험을 감행한다면 북한의 불법 사이버 활동을 차단하는 것을 독자 제재의 주 타깃으로 삼을 것이라는 전망이 나옵니다.
The U.S. and South Korean authorities predict that if North Korea conducts its seventh nuclear test, it will make blocking North Korea's illegal cyber activities the main target of its sanctions.
