중국-아랍∙이슬람권 외교장관 베이징서 다자회담…가자지구 즉각 휴전 촉구 > 세계

중국과 아랍∙이슬람권 외교장관들이 가자지구 내 이스라엘과 하마스 간 전쟁의 즉각적 휴전을 촉구했습니다.
Chinese and Arab and Islamic foreign ministers have called for an immediate cease-fire of the war between Israel and Hamas in Gaza.

왕이 중국 외교부장과 사우디아라비아∙요르단∙이집트∙팔레스타인자치정부(PA)∙인도네시아 외교장관, 그리고 이슬람협력기구(OIC) 사무총장은 오늘(20일) 중국 베이징에서 만나 이같이 밝혔습니다.
Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi, the foreign ministers of Saudi Arabia, Jordan, Egypt, Palestine (PA), and Indonesia, and the Secretary-General of the Organization for Islamic Cooperation (OIC) met in Beijing today (20th).

왕 부장은 이날 회담에서 중국은 “아랍과 무슬림 국가들의 좋은 친구이자 형제”라며, “합법적인 국민적 권리와 이익을 회복하려는 팔레스타인인들의 정당한 대의를 늘 확고히 지지해 왔다”고 강조했습니다.
During the meeting, Wang stressed that China is "a good friend and brother of Arab and Muslim countries" and has "always firmly supported the legitimate cause of Palestinians to restore legitimate public rights and interests."

이어 중국은 가자지구에서의 전투를 가능한 한 신속히 가라앉히고 인도주의 위기를 완화하며, 팔레스타인 문제의 조속하고 포괄적이며 정의롭고 지속적인 해결을 촉진하기 위해 노력할 것이라고 밝혔습니다.
China then said it would try to quell the fighting in Gaza as quickly as possible, ease the humanitarian crisis, and promote an early, comprehensive, just and lasting resolution of the Palestinian issue.

파이살 빈 파르한 알사우드 사우디 외교장관은 “우리는 분명한 신호를 보내기 위해 이 곳에 왔다”며 “싸움과 살해를 즉각 중단하고, 인도주의 물품들을 가자지구에 즉시 전달해야 한다”고 강조했습니다.
"We're here to send a clear signal," Saudi Foreign Minister Faisal bin Farhan al-Saud said, stressing that "we need to stop fighting and killing immediately, and deliver humanitarian supplies to Gaza immediately."

사메 슈크리 이집트 외교장관은 왕 부장에게 “가자지구 내 팔레스타인인들에 대한 공격을 멈추기 위해 중국과 같은 강대국들이 더 강력한 역할을 하기를 기대한다”고 말했습니다.
Egypt's Foreign Minister Sameh Shukri told Wang, "We expect great powers like China to play a stronger role in stopping attacks on Palestinians in Gaza."

슈크리 장관은 “불행하게도 이스라엘의 공격을 은폐하려는 주요 국가들이 있다”고 주장했습니다.
"Unfortunately, there are major countries that are trying to cover up the Israeli attacks," Shukri said.

한편 하마스가 통제하는 가자지구 당국은 지난달 하마스의 기습에 대한 이스라엘의 보복공격으로 숨진 가자지구 내 팔레스타인인은 지금까지 최소 1만3천 명이라고 밝혔습니다.
Meanwhile, Hamas-controlled Gaza authorities say at least 13,000 Palestinians have been killed in Israeli retaliation against Hamas' surprise attacks last month.
