미 인도태평양사령부 산하에 우주군사령부가 오늘(22일) 공식 창설됩니다.
The Space Force Command will be officially established today (22nd) under the U.S. Indo-Pacific Command.

인도태평양사령부는 어제(21일) 사회관계망 서비스(SNS)를 통해 이같은 사실을 공개하고 오늘(22일) 오후 출범식을 갖는다고 밝혔습니다.
The Indo-Pacific Command announced on its social networking service (SNS) yesterday (21st) that it will hold a launching ceremony this afternoon (22nd).

미 우주군은 미 본토에 대한 우주로부터의 군사적 위협에 대응하기 위해 2019년 12월 공군에서 독립했습니다.
The U.S. Space Force gained independence from the Air Force in December 2019 to counter military threats from space to the U.S. mainland.

이후 인공위성의 적외선 센서 등을 통한 우주 기반 미사일 추적체계를 이용해 세계 각국의 미사일 발사를 감시.추적하는 역할을 담당하는 것으로 알려졌습니다.
Since then, missile launches from around the world are monitored using a space-based missile tracking system through infrared sensors of satellites.It is known to be responsible for tracking.

이번 인도태평양 우주군사령부 창설은 최근 북한이 대륙간탄도미사일(ICBM) 등 탄도미사일 도발을 이어오는 가운데 이뤄지는 것입니다.
The creation of the Indo-Pacific Space Force Command comes amid North Korea's recent provocations of ballistic missiles such as intercontinental ballistic missiles (ICBM).

현재 인도태평양사령부는 산하 조직으로 태평양육군∙함대∙공군∙해병대사령부를 두고 있으며, 이번 출범식을 통해 우주군사령부가 추가됩니다.
Currently, the Indo-Pacific Command has the Pacific Army, Fleet, Air Force, and Marine Command as its affiliated organization, and the Space Force Command will be added through this launch ceremony.

미 우주군 예하부대가 지역사령부 산하에 창설되는 것은 인도태평양사령부가 최초입니다.
The Indo-Pacific Command is the first U.S. Space Force subordinate unit to be established under the regional command.
