강풍과 폭우를 동반한 폭풍우가 하와이를 덮쳐 비상사태가 선포됐습니다.
A storm accompanied by strong winds and heavy rain hit Hawaii, declaring a state of emergency.

미 국립기상청은 6일 하와이에 25cm-38cm의 폭우가 쏟아졌다며 섬전체가 재앙적인 홍수를 겪을 수 있다고 경고했습니다.
The U.S. National Weather Service warned on the 6th that Hawaii could experience catastrophic floods, saying 25cm-38cm of heavy rain.

홍수로 인해 마우이섬에는 정전사태가 발생했으며 오아후 섬에서는 5일부터 폭풍우에 대비해 대피소 4곳을 개설했습니다.
Floods have caused power outages on Maui Island, and four shelters have been opened on Oahu Island since the 5th in preparation for the storm.

특히 빅아일랜드 섬의 화산 정상 부근에는 최고 20cm의 눈이 쏟아져 폭설경보가 발령됐습니다.
Especially near the top of the volcano on Big Island Island, up to 20cm of snow poured out, resulting in a heavy snow warning.

데이비드 이게 하와이 주지사는 비상사태를 선포하고 “지금 당장 모두가 비상대책을 가동하고 홍수에 대비해 미리 대피해야 한다”고 밝혔습니다.
Hawaii Governor David Ige declared a state of emergency and said, "Everyone should operate emergency measures right now and evacuate in advance in case of flooding."

국립기상청은 하와이의 모든 섬들이 앞으로 이틀간 홍수, 낙뢰, 산사태와 강풍 피해를 겪을 가능성이 있다고 경고했습니다.
The National Meteorological Administration warned that all islands in Hawaii could suffer flood, lightning, landslides and strong winds over the next two days.
