미국 FDA, '얀센' 추가접종 권고 > 세계

미국 식품의약국(FDA) 자문기구가 15일, 미국 ‘존슨앤드존슨(J & J)사가 개발한 신종 코로나바이러스 백신 ‘얀센’의 부스터샷(추가접종) 승인을 권고했습니다.

자문위원회는 전날(14일) 모더나 백신의 부스터샷도 만장일치로 권고했습니다.
The advisory committee unanimously recommended booster shots of Moderna vaccines the previous day (14th).

자문위는 모더나 백신 2회 접종 후 6개월이 지난 65세 이상 고령자나 기저질환자, 고위험군에 대해 정상 투여량의 절반을 추가 접종할 수 있다고 권고했습니다.
The advisory committee recommended that an additional half of the normal dose can be given to the elderly aged 65 or older, those with underlying diseases, and high-risk groups six months after two Moderna vaccinations.

자문위원회의 결정은 권고사항으로서, 구속력은 없지만 FDA는 통상적으로 자문위원회의 권고를 수용해왔습니다. FDA는 조만간 자문위의 권고에 대해 최종 승인 여부를 결정할 예정입니다.
