중국의 시진핑 주석이 토요일 한반도의 평화와 안보를 지원하기 위한 노력의 일환으로 한국 방문을 심각하게 고려할 것이라고 말했다고 연합뉴스가 보도했습니다.
China's President Xi Jinping on Saturday said he will seriously consider visiting South Korea, Yonhap news agency reported, as part of efforts to support peace and security on the Korean Peninsula.

이와는 별도로 중국중앙TV는 시 주석이 토요일 한덕수 한국 총리에게 중국이 양국간 전략적 동반자 관계를 증진시키기 위해 기꺼이 노력할 것이라고 말했다고 보도했습니다.
Separately China Central Television, or CCTV, reported that Xi had told South Korean Prime Minister Han Duck-soo on Saturday that China is willing to work to promote a strategic partnership between the two countries.

2014년 이후 한국을 방문하지 않은 시 주석은 25일 아시아경기 개막식에 앞서 중국 동부 항저우(in州)에서 한 위원장과 회담을 가졌습니다.
Xi, who has not visited South Korea since 2014, held talks with Han in the eastern Chinese city of Hangzhou before the opening ceremony of the Asian Games on Saturday.

협력 약속은 화요일 서울에서 열릴 예정인 중국, 일본, 한국의 고위 관리들이 참석하는 3자 회담에 앞서 나온 것으로, 이 회담은 4년 만에 처음으로 3국간 정상회담을 위한 길을 열기 위한 것입니다.
The commitment to cooperation came ahead of scheduled trilateral talks in Seoul on Tuesday involving senior officials from China, Japan and South Korea, which are intended to pave the way for the first summit between the three countries in four years.

시 주석은 한 총리에게 적절한 시기에 그러한 정상회담을 환영할 것이며 한국 방문을 진지하게 고려할 것이라고 말했다고 연합뉴스가 보도했습니다.
Xi told Han he would welcome such a summit at an opportune time and would seriously consider visiting South Korea, Yonhap reported.

시 주석의 정상회담 발언이나 서울 방문에 대해서는 중국 측 성명에서 언급하지 않았습니다.
A Chinese statement did not mention Xi's comment on the summit or a visit to Seoul.

CCTV에 따르면 시 주석은 "중국은 한국이 협력에 적극적인 의지를 보이는 것을 매우 중요하게 생각한다"며 "한국이 우호 협력 방향을 유지할 수 있도록 중간에서 만나줄 것을 요청했다"며 "양국은 상호 이익이 되는 협력을 심화시킬 수 있다"고 말했습니다.
China attaches great importance to the positive willingness of South Korea to commit to cooperation, Xi said, according to CCTV, and asked South Korea to meet it halfway to maintain the direction of friendly cooperation. The two countries can deepen mutually beneficial cooperation, he said.

연합뉴스는 시 주석이 한국 정부의 고위 관리라고 말한 것을 인용해 중국이 남북한 간의 대화를 지지하고 한반도의 평화와 안보를 위한 노력을 계속할 것이라고 말한 반면, 한 장관은 중국이 북한과의 관계에서 건설적인 역할을 해줄 것을 요청했다고 보도했습니다.
Citing what it said was a high-ranking South Korean government official, Yonhap reported that Xi said China supports dialogue between the two Koreas and will continue efforts for peace and security on the Korean Peninsula, while Han had asked China to play a constructive role in relations with North Korea.

Tensions between the two countries rose after North Korea's Kim Jong Un made a weeklong visit to Russia earlier this month, which angered the United States, Japan and South Korea.

한국은 북한의 핵 프로그램과 러시아를 포함한 3개국과의 무기 거래와 관련하여 10명의 개인과 2개의 단체에 제재를 가했다고 외교부가 목요일에 발표했습니다.
