기시다 총리는 27일, 도쿄에서 열린 일본인 납북자의 귀국을 촉구하는 집회에 참석해 아무 전제조건 없이 김정은 위원장과 직접 대면할 결심이 돼 있다고 말했다고 마이니치, 니케이 등 일본 주요 매체들이 일제히 보도했습니다.
Major Japanese media, including Mainichi and Nikkei, reported that Prime Minister Kishida attended a rally in Tokyo on the 27th to urge Japanese abductees to return home and said he was determined to face Kim Jong-un directly without any preconditions.

북한은 지난 2002년 처음으로 13명의 일본인을 납치한 사실을 인정하고 5명을 일본으로 돌려보냈으나 8명은 사망했다고 주장했습니다.
North Korea admitted to kidnapping 13 Japanese for the first time in 2002 and sent five back to Japan, but claimed eight were killed.

하지만 일본 정부는 17명이 납치된 것으로 파악하고 있습니다.

기시다 총리는 이날(27일) 연설에서, 지난 2002년 북일 정상회담 이후 북한에 의한 일본인 피해자의 귀국이 실현되지 않고 있는 상황에 대해 "통한의 극치"라며 "정부로서 무겁게 받아들이고 있다"고 말했습니다.
Prime Minister Kishida said in a speech on the 27th, "We take it seriously as a government," calling the situation in which the return of Japanese victims by North Korea has not been realized since the 2002 North Korea-Japan summit.
