뉴질랜드·스위스 대러 제재에 ‘북한 무기 공급 관여’ 개인·단체 포함 > 정치

뉴질랜드가 최근 우크라이나 전쟁 2주년을 맞아 발표한 러시아 제재 명단에 북한 무기 조달과 실험에 관여한 러시아 개인 한 명과 기관 3곳이 포함됐습니다. 스위스도 북한 군사 장비의 러시아 이전과 관련된 개인과 단체를 제재했습니다. 이조은 기자가 보도합니다.
New Zealand's latest list of Russian sanctions to mark the second anniversary of the war in Ukraine included a Russian individual and three agencies involved in the procurement and testing of North Korean weapons. Switzerland has also sanctioned individuals and organizations involved in the transfer of North Korean military equipment to Russia. Reporter Lee Jo-eun reports.

New Zealand has released the names of individuals and agencies whose new sanctions list includes alleged procurement, transfer or testing of weapons from North Korea to Russia.

According to the list released to VOA by a spokesperson for New Zealand's Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade on the 4th, it included one individual and three institutions, including the "224th Flight Unit State Airlines," a Russian state-owned airline that provides commercial air cargo transportation services and transfers ballistic missiles, Vladimir Vladimirovich Mikicik, director of the 224th Air Corps, and the "Ashuluk Firing Range," a Russian missile test site, and the "Vladimirovka Advanced Weapons and Research Complex," a Russian weapons test complex related to the transfer and testing of ballistic missiles to Russia.

앞서 뉴질랜드 외교통상부는 지난달 29일 보도자료를 통해 우크라이나 전쟁 발발 2주년에 맞춰 러시아에 신규 제재를 부과한다고 발표한 바 있습니다.
Earlier, New Zealand's Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade announced in a press release on the 29th of last month that it would impose new sanctions on Russia in time for the second anniversary of the outbreak of the war in Ukraine.

러시아의 제재 회피를 가능하게 하거나 러시아가 우크라이나에 사용할 군사 장비 조달 및 이전을 촉진함으로써 러시아에 물질적 또는 전략적 지원을 한 개인 45명과 기관 16곳이 제재 명단에 올랐습니다.
Forty-five individuals and 16 agencies who have given material or strategic support to Russia by enabling it to evade sanctions or facilitating the procurement and transfer of military equipment to be used by Moscow in Ukraine have been placed on the sanctions list.

스위스 연방정부도 이날 러시아에 대한 대규모 제재를 단행했습니다.
The Swiss federal government also imposed large-scale sanctions on Russia on the same day.

스위스 경제교육연구부는 1일 보도자료를 통해 러시아에 대한 유럽연합(EU)의 제13차 제재에 동참하기로 했다며 추가 제재가 이날 오후 6시부터 발효된다고 발표했습니다.
Switzerland's Ministry of Economic Education and Research announced in a press release on the 1st that it had decided to join the European Union's 13th sanctions on Russia and that additional sanctions would take effect at 6 p.m. on the same day.

개인 106명과 단체 및 기관 88곳이 추가 제재 명단에 올랐습니다.
106 individuals and 88 organizations and agencies were placed on the additional sanctions list.

스위스 경제교육연구부는 “새 제재 대상에 오른 개인, 단체, 기관은 주로 러시아의 군산복합체에서 활동하며 미사일, 드론, 대공 미사일 시스템과 기타 군사 장비 제조에 관여하는 기업들”이라고 설명했습니다.
"The individuals, groups and institutions on the new sanctions list are mainly companies operating in Russia's military industrial complex and involved in the manufacture of missiles, drones, anti-aircraft missile systems and other military equipment," the Swiss Ministry of Economic Education and Research said.

앞서 유럽연합은 지난달 23일 우크라이나 전쟁 2주년을 맞아 북러 무기 거래에 관여한 강순남 북한 국방상과 북한 미사일총국 등 우크라이나 전쟁에 연루된 개인 106명과 기업 및 기관 88곳을 대상으로 하는 추가 대러 제재를 발표한 바 있습니다.

U.S. sanctions included three Russian logistics companies involved in arms exports to North Korea, including Russia's Vostochnaya Stevedoring Company (VSC), the Dunai Naval Missile Suspected Facility, and the PJSC Transcontainer.

The war in Ukraine began on Feb. 24, 2022, when Russia launched a missile strike on Ukraine's capital, Kyiv, and sent ground troops after Russian President Vladimir Putin authorized an order to launch a "special military operation" against Ukraine.
