‘서해 공무원 피격 사건’ 당시 대북 안보라인 최고 책임자였던 서훈 전 국가안보실장이 구속됐습니다.

한국 언론에 따르면 서울중앙지법은 오늘(3일) 서 전 실장에 대해 검찰이 지난달 29일 청구한 구속영장을 발부했습니다.
According to the Korean media, the Seoul Central District Court issued an arrest warrant requested by the prosecution on the 29th of last month for former chief Seo today (3rd).

법원은 “범죄의 중대성과 피의자의 지위, 관련자들과의 관계에 비춰 증거 인멸의 염려가 있다”며 구속영장 발부 사유를 설명했습니다.

서 전 실장은 해양수산부 공무원 고 이대준 씨가 북한 군에 살해된 이튿날인 2020년 9월 23일 오전 1시께 열린 관계장관회의에서 이 씨의 ‘자진 월북’을 속단하고 이와 배치되는 기밀첩보를 삭제하도록 관계부처에 지시한 혐의 등을 받고 있습니다.
Seo is accused of ordering related ministries to quickly conclude Lee's "self-defection to North Korea" and delete confidential intelligence that contradicts it at a meeting of related ministers held around 1 a.m. on September 23, 2020, the day after the late Lee Dae-joon, a Ministry of Maritime Affairs and Fisheries official, was killed by North Korean troops.

사건 발생 당시 문재인 정부는 이 씨가 자진월북하다 살해됐다고 밝혔지만 윤석열 정부 출범 이후 국방부와 해경이 기존 발표를 뒤집으면서 진상을 밝히기 위한 검찰 수사가 진행 중입니다.
