뉴질랜드 총리 "시진핑 주석과 북한 문제 논의" > 정치

저신다 아던 뉴질랜드 총리 시진핑 중국 국가주석과의 정상회담에서 북한 문제를 논의했다고 밝혔습니다.
New Zealand Prime Minister Jacinda Ardern said she discussed North Korea at a summit with Chinese President Xi Jinping.

아시아태평양경제협력체(APEC) 정상회의 참석차 태국 방콕을 방문 중인 아던 총리와 시 주석은 어제(18일) 양자 정상회담을 열었습니다.
Prime Minister Ardern and President Xi, who are visiting Bangkok, Thailand to attend the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) summit, held a bilateral summit yesterday (18th).

뉴질랜드 언론에 따르면 아던 총리는 시 주석과의 정상회담이 끝난 뒤 기자들과 만나 양국간 대화가 “건설적”이었다고 말했습니다.
According to New Zealand media, Prime Minister A said that the conversation between the two countries after the summit with President Xi.

이어 직접적으로 역내와 관련된 사안을 주로 논의했다며, 여기에는 일본 해역에 떨어진 대륙간탄도미사일(ICBM) 추정 북한의 탄도미사일 문제가 포함된다고 덧붙였습니다.
He added that he mainly discussed issues related to the region directly, including the North's ballistic missile issue, which is presumed to be an intercontinental ballistic missile (ICBM) that has fallen into Japanese waters.

아던 총리는 “역내 평화와 안정을 잃는 건 어느 누구의 이익도 아니며, 그것이 공통된 시각이었다는 점을 말할 수 있다”고 밝혔습니다.
Prime Minister Ardern said, "It is in no one's interest to lose peace and stability in the region, and I can say that it was a common view."

다만 아던 총리는 시 주석이 어떤 발언을 했는지에 대해선 따로 언급하지 않았습니다.
However, Prime Minister Ardern did not mention what President Xi said.

두 정상의 만남은 당초 20분으로 예정됐으나, 실제 회담은 50분 가까이 이어진 것으로 전해졌습니다.
The meeting between the two leaders was originally scheduled for 20 minutes, but the actual meeting reportedly lasted nearly 50 minutes.
