타지키스탄에는 러시아 군 기지가 있으며, 타지키스탄은 아프가니스탄과 국경을 맞대고 있어 이슬람 급진주의 세력의 침입을 우려하고 있습니다.

이와 관련해 푸틴 대통령은 “아프가스탄 내부 상황이 정상화될 수 있도록 모든 노력을 다하고 있다”며, “상황을 통제하는 정치세력들과 관계를 구축하려 시도하고 있다”고 말했습니다.
"We are doing everything we can to normalize the situation in Afghanistan," Putin said. "We are trying to establish relations with political forces that control the situation."

한편 푸틴 대통령은 29일) 투르크메니스탄 수도 아슈하바트에서 열리는 카스피해 연안국가 정상회의에 참석할 예정입니다.
President Putin will attend the Caspian Sea summit in Ashhabat, the capital of Turkmenistan, on Tuesday.
