미 군사전문매체인 ‘아미타임즈’는 5천명 넘는 일본 자위대와 미 육군, 해병대 병력이 미국 워싱턴주와 일본을 포함한 태평양 일대에서 훈련을 진행 중이라고 전했습니다.
The Army Times, a U.S. military media outlet, said more than 5,000 Japanese Self-Defense Force, the U.S. Army, and Marine Corps troops are training in the Pacific Ocean, including Washington and Japan.

미 7보병사단 측은 워싱턴 주에서 진행되고 있는 미일 정례연합훈련 ‘라이징 썬더'의 경우 장병 600명이 참가하고 있다며 아파치 헬기 사격이 진행됐다고 밝혔습니다.
The U.S. 7th Infantry Division said 600 soldiers were participating in the U.S.-Japan regular joint training "Rising Thunder" in Washington state, adding that the Apache helicopter shooting was underway.

앞서 지난 5일 일본과 태평양 지역에서 시작된 '야마 사쿠라 81' 훈련의 경우, 양측에서 4천500여명의 병력이 참가했습니다. 이 훈련은 일본을 방어하기 위한 가상 지휘소 훈련에 초점을 맞추고 있습니다.
In the case of the "Yama Sakura 81" training, which began in Japan and the Pacific Ocean on the 5th, 4,500 troops from both sides participated. This training focuses on virtual command post training to defend Japan.
