백악관은 7일 이같이 밝히며 바이든 대통령이 이날 러시아 블라디미르 푸틴 대통령과 화상 정상회담에서 논의한 내용을 우크라이나 측에 설명할 것이라고 말했습니다.
The White House said on the 7th that President Biden will explain to Ukraine what he discussed at a video summit with Russian President Vladimir Putin.

제이크 설리번 백악관 국가안보보좌관은 기자들에게 푸틴 대통령과 나눈 대화를 바이든 대통령은 유럽의 동맹 지도자들 뿐 아니라 우크라이나 젤렌스키 대통령과도 공유할 예정이라고 밝혔습니다.
White House National Security Advisor Jake Sullivan told reporters that President Biden will share the conversation with President Putin with not only European alliance leaders but also Ukrainian President Zelensky.

설리번 보좌관은 양 정상은 러시아와의 긴장관계를 해소하기 위한 잠재적 외교 방안 등에 대해 논의할 가능성이 크다고 말했습니다.
Sullivan said the two leaders are likely to discuss potential diplomatic measures to resolve tensions with Russia.

앞서 토니 블링컨 국무장관은 우크라이나와의 화상 정상회담을 사전 조율하기 위해 지난 6일 젤렌스키 대통령과 상의한 바 있습니다.
Earlier, Secretary of State Tony Blinkon discussed with President Zelensky on the 6th to coordinate a video summit with Ukraine in advance.

한편, 백악관은 이날 미-러 화상 정상회담 직후 성명을 내고 바이든 대통령은 군사적 긴장이 고조될 경우 미국과 동맹은 강력한 경제적 조치를 취할 것이라고 경고했다고 전했습니다.
Meanwhile, the White House issued a statement shortly after the U.S.-Russia video summit, saying President Biden warned that the U.S. alliance will take strong economic measures if military tensions rise.

특히 우크라이나 주권과 영토보존에 대한 미국의 지지를 재차 밝혔다고 강조했습니다.
