미-러 화상회담...바이든 "군사 긴장 고조 시 강한 경제적 대응" > 세계

조 바이든 미국 대통령과 블라디미르 푸틴 러시아 대통령이 7일 화상 정상회담을 갖고 우크라이나 문제 등을 논의했습니다.
U.S. President Joe Biden and Russian President Vladimir Putin held a video summit on the 7th to discuss Ukraine issues.

백악관은 이날 발표한 성명을 통해 바이든 대통령이 푸틴 대통령에게 우크라이나 국경 인근에서의 러시아의 군사력 증가에 깊은 우려를 나타냈다고 전했습니다.
The White House said in a statement that President Biden expressed deep concern to President Putin about Russia's growing military power near the Ukrainian border.

성명에 따르면 바이든 대통령은 나아가, 군사적 긴장이 고조될 시에는 미국과 동맹은 강력한 경제적, 그리고 다른 수단을 동원해 이에 대응할 것이라고 경고했습니다.
According to a statement, President Biden went on to warn that the U.S. and its alliance will respond by strong economic and other means if military tensions rise.

성명은 또 바이든 대통령이 우크라이나의 주권과 영토 보존에 대한 미국의 지지를 다시 한 번 강조했다고 설명했습니다.
The statement also explained that President Biden once again stressed the U.S. support for Ukraine's sovereignty and territorial preservation.

성명은 이어 미국과 러시아 정상이 각각 자국 관리들에게 이와 관련한 후속 임무를 부여했으며, 앞으로 미국은 동맹, 그리고 파트너들과 함께 이에 대해 긴밀하게 조율할 것이라고 덧붙였습니다.
The statement added that the leaders of the U.S. and Russia each gave their officials follow-up missions, and that the U.S. will coordinate them closely with allies and partners in the future.

우크라이나 상황 외에 미국과 러시아의 전략적 안정 대화, 랜섬웨어, 이란 등 역내 협력 문제 등도 이번 회담에서 다뤄졌다고 백악관은 밝혔습니다.
In addition to the situation in Ukraine, strategic stability dialogue between the U.S. and Russia, ransomware, and regional cooperation issues such as Iran were also addressed at the meeting, the White House said.

이번 회담은 미국 동부 시각으로 7일 오전 10시쯤 시작해 약 두 시간 동안 이어졌습니다.
The meeting began at around 10 a.m. on the 7th in eastern U.S. time and lasted for about two hours.

백악관이 공개한 사진에 따르면 이번 회담에 미국 측에서는 토니 블링컨 국무장관과 제이크 설리번 백악관 국가안보보좌관, 에릭 그린 국가안보위원회(NSC) 러시아·중앙아시아 선임 국장 등이 배석했습니다.
According to a photo released by the White House, the meeting was attended by Secretary of State Tony Blinkon, White House National Security Advisor Jake Sullivan, and senior Director of National Security Committee (NSC) Russia and Central Asia.

미국과 러시아 정상은 지난 6월 스위스 제네바에서 대면 정상회담을, 그리고 지난 7월 유선 회담을 한 바 있습니다.
The leaders of the U.S. and Russia held a face-to-face summit in Geneva, Switzerland, in June, and a wired meeting in July.
