일본 기시다 후미오 총리가 14일 미국의 하원에 해당하는 중의원을 해산했습니다.

기시다 내각이 출범한 지 10일만에 이뤄진 이번 결정으로 오는 31일 총선이 실시됩니다.

기시다 총리는 이날 임시 각료회의에서 중의원 해산을 결정한 뒤 기자들과 만나 “지금부터 국민의 판단을 받게 될 것”이라며 “선거를 통해 우리가 무엇을 하려는지, 무엇을 목표로 하는지 제대로 호소해 나가고자 한다”고 밝혔습니다.
Prime Minister Kishida met with reporters after deciding to dissolve the House of Representatives at an extraordinary ministerial meeting and said, "We will be judged by the people from now on," adding, "We want to appeal properly through the election."

일본의 중의원 선거는 아베 신조 전 총리 시절인 2018년 10월 이후 4년만에 치러집니다.
