하버드대 중국어 연수지 베이징서 타이완으로 변경 > 세계

미국 하버드대가 여름방학 어학연수 장소를 베이징에서 타이완으로 바꾸기로 했습니다.
Harvard University in the U.S. has decided to change its summer vacation language training place from Beijing to Taiwan.

하버드대학 신문인 '하버드 크림슨'은 13일 그동안 '베이징 캠프'를 유치해온 중국 어언 대학이 기숙사를 제대로 제공하지 않고, 미국 독립기념일에 미국 국가 제창도 불허하는 증 우호적이지 않은 태도를 보인 점을 고려해 학교 당국이 이같은 결정을 내렸다고 전했습니다.
Harvard University newspaper "Harvard Crimson" said on the 13th that the school authorities made the decision considering that Eohen University of China, which has been hosting the "Beijing Camp," did not provide proper dormitories and showed an unacceptable attitude on the U.S. Independence Day.

어학 연수 프로그램의 명칭도 '베이징 캠프'에서 '타이베이 캠프'로 바꿀 것이라고 소개했습니다.
The name of the language training program will also be changed from Beijing Camp to Taipei Camp.

이와 관련해 국립 타이완대학도 내년 여름부터 8주 기간으로 60명의 학생을 받아들이고 운영할 것이라고 설명했습니다.
In this regard, the National University of Taiwan also explained that it will accept and operate 60 students for an eight-week period from next summer.

자오리젠 중국 외교부 대변인은 관련 움직임에 대해서는 인지하지 못하고 있다고 밝혔습니다.
Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesman Zaorizen said he was not aware of the related movements.

그러나 중국 정부는 “언제나 외국 국적의 유학생들이 중국에 와서 공부하는 것을 환영한다”며, “그들의 정당한 권리와 이해를 보장하고 합리적인 우려와 문제를 제기 할 경우, 적극적으로 대응할 것”이라고 말했습니다.
