미 해군의 최신예 원정해상기지함이 일본 나가사키 연안에 정박했습니다.

일본 NHK방송은 10일 주일 미군 사세보 기지 인근에서 미 해군의 원정해상기지함인 ‘미구엘 키스(Miguel Keith)’함이 정박한 모습이 포착됐다고 보도했습니다.
Japan's NHK broadcast reported on the 10th that the U.S. Navy's expedition maritime base "Miguel Keith" was spotted anchoring near the U.S. military Sasebo base on Sunday.

미 해군이 보유한 3척의 원정해상기지 중 하나인 미구엘 키스함은 ‘떠다니는 해군기지’로 선박 건조에 5억 달러가 들었습니다. 이 함정은 길이 240m에 헬기 이착륙이 가능하며 작전범위는 9천 500해리 이상입니다.
The Miguel Kiss, one of the three away maritime bases owned by the U.S. Navy, was a "floating naval base" that cost $500 million to build the ship. The ship is 240 meters long and can take off and land by helicopter, and its operation range is more than 9,500 nautical miles.

앞서 지난달 20일 하와이를 떠난 미구엘 키스함은 이달 6일 일본 오키나와현 우루마시의 미 해군 시설 화이트 비치 앞 바다에서 목격됐습니다.
Miguel Keith, who left Hawaii on the 20th of last month, was seen in the sea in front of White Beach, a U.S. naval facility in Urumashi, Okinawa, Japan, on the 6th of this month.

앞서 미 해군은 지난 7일 자유롭고 열린 인도태평양을 위해 일본 요코스카에 거점을 둔 미국 제 7함대에 미구엘 키스함을 파견해 작전능력을 향상시킬 것이라고 발표한 바 있습니다.
Earlier on the 7th, the U.S. Navy announced that it would send Miguel Kisses to the U.S. 7th Fleet based in Yokosuka, Japan, to improve its operational capabilities for the free and open Indian Pacific.
