지난 밤 강진이 토요일 새벽 중국 서부의 인구가 드문 지역을 뒤흔들었고 터널 손상으로 고속철도 운행이 중단되었다고 당국이 밝혔습니다.
A strong overnight earthquake shook a sparsely populated area in western China early Saturday and forced the suspension of high-speed rail service because of tunnel damage, authorities said.

당국은 기자회견에서 멘위안 후이족 자치현에서 경상을 입은 4명이 치료를 받고 풀려났다고 밝혔습니다.
Four people with minor injuries in Menyuan Hui Autonomous County had been treated and released, officials told a news conference.

진도 6.9의 지진이 현지 시간으로 오전 1시 45분에 해발 3,659미터인 칭하이성 산악 지역에서 발생했습니다. 일부 사람들이 집과 건물 밖으로 돌진하는 성도의 수도인 시닝에서 남동쪽으로 140 킬로미터 떨어진 것이 느껴졌습니다.
The magnitude 6.9 quake struck at 1:45 a.m. local time in a mountainous part of Qinghai province that is 3,659 meters above sea level. It was felt 140 kilometers southeast in Xining, the provincial capital, where some people rushed outside of homes and buildings.

Nighttime video posted online by CGTN, the overseas arm of state broadcaster CCTV, showed furniture and ceiling lamps swaying and livestock suddenly standing up and moving in its pen. Photos from the state-owned China News Service showed scattered damage to homes including a broken window and wall tiles and a large ceiling section that had fallen.

진앙지에서 5킬로미터 이내에 마을이 다섯 개 있다고 관영 신화 통신이 전했습니다.
There are five villages within 5 kilometers of the epicenter, the official Xinhua News Agency said.

간쑤성 란저우에서 신장 지역으로 가는 고속 철도의 일부 구간이 터널의 손상으로 인해 중단되었다고 신화 통신이 전했습니다. 칭하이와 티베트 사이의 일부 노선이 폐쇄되었고 선로를 확인하기 위해 조사관들이 파견되었습니다.
Service on some sections of a high-speed rail line from Lanzhou in Gansu province to the Xinjiang region was halted because of damage to several tunnels, Xinhua said. Some lines between Qinghai and Tibet were closed and inspectors were sent to check the tracks.

중국 비상관리부는 온라인 성명을 통해 칭하이성과 인근 간쑤성의 구조 및 소방대가 진원지에 구조대원 500여 명을 파견했다고 밝혔습니다. 다른 2,260명의 이웃 지방 구조대원들이 대기하고 있었습니다.
Rescue and firefighting teams in Qinghai and neighboring Gansu province have sent about 500 rescuers to the epicenter, the Chinese Ministry of Emergency Management said in an online statement. Another 2,260 rescuers from neighboring provinces were on standby.

중국 지진 관리부와 중국 지진 관리국은 상황을 조사하고 피해를 입은 주민들을 재정착시키기 위해 팀을 칭하이로 급파했습니다.
The ministry and the China Earthquake Administration dispatched a team to Qinghai to help investigate the situation and resettle any affected residents.
