기시다 일 총리, 납북피해자 가족 만나 “일·북 정상간 관계 구축 중요” > 정치

일본의 기시다 후미오 총리가 4일 일본인 납북 피해자 가족들과 만나 “정상 간 관계 구축이 중요하다”며 일북 정상회담에 대한 의지를 밝혔습니다.

일본 언론에 따르면 기시다 총리는 총리 관저에서 납치 피해자 가족들과 만나 "일본과 북한 간 불신감을 끊고 서로 밝은 미래를 그리기 위해서는 저 자신이 주체적으로 움직여야 한다"고 말했습니다.
According to Japanese media, Kishida met with the families of the kidnapping victims at the prime minister's residence and said, "I have to move on my own to break the distrust between Japan and North Korea and draw a bright future for each other."

일본인 납북 피해자 가족모임은 지난달 25일 피해자 부모가 살아있는 동안 일본인 피랍자 일괄 귀국이 실현되면 북한에 대한 일본 정부의 독자제재 해제에 반대하지 않는다는 방침을 정했습니다.
On the 25th of last month, the family group of Japanese abductees decided not to oppose the Japanese government's lifting of independent sanctions on North Korea if the Japanese abductees return home en masse while the victim's parents are alive.

이들은 또 피랍자 즉시 일괄 귀국을 조건으로 인도적 지원에 반대하지 않는다는 지난해의 방침도 유지했습니다.

납북 피해자인 요코타 메구미씨의 남동생이자 모임 대표인 요코타 다쿠야씨는 북한 김여정 부부장의 담화를 언급하면서 분명히 지금까지와는 다른 조짐이 있다며 다시없는 기회를 구체적 성과로 연결해달라고 요청했습니다.
Takuya Yokota, the younger brother of Megumi Yokota, a North Korean abductee, said, "There are clearly different signs than before," referring to North Korean Vice President Kim Yo-jong's statement, asking for concrete results to be linked to never-before-seen opportunities.

기시다 총리가 여러 차례 김정은 북한 국무위원장과의 정상회담 추진 의지를 밝혀온 가운데 김여정 부부장은 지난달 15일 담화에서 "일본이 관계 개선의 새 출로를 열어나갈 정치적 결단을 내린다면 두 나라가 얼마든지 새로운 미래를 함께 열어나갈 수 있다"고 말했습니다.
While Prime Minister Kishida has repeatedly expressed his willingness to push for a summit with North Korean leader Kim Jong-un, Deputy Minister Kim Yo-jung said in a statement on the 15th of last month, "If Japan makes a political decision to open a new way out of improving relations, the two countries can open a new future together."

앞서 기시다 총리는 지난 9일 중의원 예산위원회에 출석한 자리에서 일북 정상회담 추진 관련 질문에 "구체적으로 여러 활동을 하고 있다"고 밝힌 바 있습니다.
