뉴질랜드 “북한 탄도미사일 발사, 인도태평양 전체의 안보 위협” > 정치

뉴질랜드 외무부가 북한의 거듭된 탄도미사일 발사에 깊은 우려를 표명했습니다. 한반도는 물론 인도태평양 전체의 안정을 해치는 행위라고 비판했습니다. 박승혁 기자가 보도합니다.
New Zealand's Foreign Ministry has expressed deep concern over North Korea's repeated ballistic missile launches. He criticized it as an act that undermines the stability of the Korean Peninsula as well as the entire Indo-Pacific. Reporter Park Seung-hyuk reports.

뉴질랜드 외무부는 29일 VOA에 “우리는 북한의 탄도미사일 역량의 어떤 개발에 대해서도 매우 우려한다”고 밝혔습니다.
The New Zealand Foreign Ministry told VOA on the 29th, "We are very concerned about any development of North Korea's ballistic missile capabilities."

The U.N. Security Council resolution clearly prohibits North Korea from using or developing ballistic missile technology.

또 북한의 미사일과 핵 개발 프로그램, 그리고 올해 수 차례의 탄도미사일 시험 발사는 한반도뿐 아니라 더 넓은 지역으로서 인도태평양의 안보와 안정을 위협한다고 지적했습니다.
He also pointed out that North Korea's missile and nuclear development program and several ballistic missile tests this year threaten the security and stability of the Indo-Pacific as well as the Korean Peninsula.

그러면서 뉴질랜드는 이 지역에 평화, 안정, 그리고 규칙 기반 질서가 유지되는 데 강렬한 관심을 갖고 있다고 덧붙였습니다.
He added that New Zealand has a strong interest in maintaining peace, stability and rule-based order in the region.

뉴질랜드 외무부는 이어 북한에 국제 의무를 준수하고, 추가 시험을 삼가며, 한반도에서 항구적이고 안정적인 평화를 구축할 수 있도록 건설적인 대화에 참여하라고 촉구했습니다.
New Zealand's Foreign Ministry then urged North Korea to engage in constructive dialogue to comply with international obligations, refrain from further testing, and build lasting and stable peace on the Korean Peninsula.

북한은 지난 25일 단거리탄도미사일 1발을 동해상에 발사한 것을 시작으로, 28일에는 2발, 그리고 29일에도 2발을 잇따라 쏘아 올렸습니다.
North Korea launched one short-range ballistic missile into the East Sea on the 25th, followed by two on the 28th and two on the 29th.

북한은 올해 들어 탄도미사일 19차례, 순항미사일을 2차례 발사했으며, 이번 발사는 윤석열 정부 출범 이후 7번째입니다.
North Korea has launched 19 ballistic missiles and two cruise missiles this year, the seventh such launch since the inauguration of the Yoon Suk Yeoln government.

이에 따라 미국과 한국, 일본뿐 아니라 서유럽 국가들과 호주, 뉴질랜드 등 세계 각국이 북한의 도발을 규탄하는 성명을 잇따라 발표했습니다.
As a result, not only the United States, South Korea, and Japan, but also Western European countries, including Australia and New Zealand, issued a series of statements condemning North Korea's provocations.
