세계반도핑기구, 북한 '반도핑 비준수 단체' 지정 > 문화

북한이 세계 반도핑 규약을 따르지 않는 ‘비준수’ 단체로 지정됐습니다.
North Korea has been designated as a "non-compliance" organization that does not comply with the world anti-doping protocol.

세계반도핑기구(WADA)는 7일 성명에서 북한반도핑위원회를 인도네시아와 태국 등과 함께 반도핑 비준수 단체로 지정했다고 밝혔습니다.
The World Anti-Doping Agency (WADA) said in a statement on the 7th that it has designated the North Korean Anti-Doping Committee as a non-doping organization along with Indonesia and Thailand.

이 기구는 북한반도핑위원회가 운동 선수들이 기량 향상을 위해 금지약물을 사용했는지 시험하는 효과적인 프로그램을 제대로 이행하지 않았다고 지정 사유를 설명했습니다.
The organization explained why the North Korean Anti-Doping Commission designated that it did not properly implement an effective program to test whether athletes used banned drugs to improve their skills.

이번 조치에 따라 북한반도핑위원회는 1년 간 또는 자격 회복 시까지 WADA 관련 행사 참석과 주최가 금지되고, WADA의 직간접적인 금전 지원도 받지 못하게 됩니다.
Under this measure, the North Korean Anti-Doping Committee will be banned from attending and hosting WADA-related events for a year or until qualifications are restored, and will not receive direct or indirect financial support from WADA.

또 북한반도핑위원회의 시료 분석은 승인된 제3 기관의 관리·감독 대상이 되며, 북한의 지역과 국제대회 개최와 국가 차원의 참석 등에도 제약을 받습니다.
In addition, sample analysis by the North Korean Anti-Doping Committee is subject to management and supervision by an approved third party, and is also restricted from holding regional and international competitions in North Korea and attending at the national level.

세계반도핑기구는 2019년 7월 북한 당국이 선수들의 금지약물 사용 검사에 충실히 협조할 것을 약속했다며 북한을 ‘반도핑 비준수 국가’에서 ‘준수국가’로 변경한다고 밝힌 바 있습니다.
The World Anti-Doping Organization said in July 2019, that North Korean authorities promised to faithfully cooperate in testing athletes' use of banned drugs, and that it would change North Korea from a "non-Doping country" to a "compliance country."
