중국 기항 북한 선박 증가세…코로나 이전 수준 회복 > 경제

최근 중국 항구에 기항하는 북한 선박이 늘고 있습니다. 북한 선박이 다녀간 항구도 다양해지고 있는데, 신종 코로나바이러스 사태 이전 양상으로 돌아가고 있습니다. 함지하 기자가 보도합니다.

A total of 28 North Korean ships recently sailed into Chinese territorial waters.
최근 중국 영해를 항해한 북한 선박은 모두 28척입니다.

According to data from "Marine Traffic," which shows real-time location information of the ship, 28 North Korean-flagged ships left traces of sailing at Chinese ports or sailing near China during the period.
VOA가 선박의 실시간 위치정보를 보여주는 ‘마린트래픽’의 지난 15일부터 24일 사이 자료를 살펴본 결과 이 기간 북한 깃발을 단 선박 28척이 중국 항구에 기항하거나 중국 인근 해상을 항해한 흔적을 남겼습니다.

Until 2017, before international sanctions against North Korea began in earnest, North Korea had shipped 20 to 30 ships a week overseas, but less than 10 ships a week have been sent to China since the outbreak of the new coronavirus.
북한은 국제사회 대북제재가 본격화하기 이전인 2017년까지만 해도 일주일에 20~30척의 선박을 해외에 출항시켰는데, 신종 코로나바이러스 사태가 불거진 뒤로는 일주일에 10척 미만의 선박을 중국에 보냈습니다.

However, in the last 10 days, ship location information similar to the past has been confirmed in China or nearby seas.
그런데 최근 열흘 동안 과거와 비슷한 수준의 선박 위치정보가 중국 혹은 인근 바다에서 확인된 것입니다.

During this period, the most frequently headed North Korean ships were Longkou and Dalian, with seven ships each arriving.
이 기간 북한 선박이 가장 많이 향한 곳은 룽커우와 다이롄으로 각각 7척의 선박이 기항한 것으로 나타났습니다.

Four and two ships were anchored in Zhou and Weihai, respectively, and one went to Penglai, Sudao, and Laizhou ports.
이어 저우산과 웨이하이에 각각 4척과 2척이 정박했으며, 펑라이와 스다오, 라이저우 항구에도 1척씩 다녀갔습니다.

In addition, five ships sent signals from China's seas, but did not leave any records of port entry.
또 5척은 중국 해상 등에서 신호를 발신했지만, 항구 입항 기록은 남기지 않았습니다.

VOA previously reported in September that North Korean ships called at five ports, including Daryen, Longkou, Zhou Umbrella, Penglai, and Qingdao.
앞서 VOA는 지난 9월 북한 선박이 다이롄과 룽커우, 저우산, 펑라이, 칭다오 등 5개 항구에 기항했다고 보도한 바 있습니다.

About two months later, the number of Chinese ports that North Korean ships have stopped at has increased to seven.
약 두 달이 지난 현재 북한 선박이 기항한 중국 항구는 7곳으로 늘어난 것입니다.

It can be assumed that exchanges between the two countries using ships have become more active recently
최근 들어 선박을 활용한 양국 간 교류가 활발해졌다고 추측해볼 수 있습니다

In fact, trade between North Korea and China has been steadily rising every month.
실제로 북중 무역액은 매월 꾸준히 상승 추세를 보이고 있습니다.

According to China's Customs and Excise Administration, trade between North Korea and China last month was US$153.86 million, up 48% from the previous month and 268% from October last year.
중국 해관총서에 따르면 지난달 북중 교역액은 미화 1억 5천 386만 달러로, 전달보다 48%, 지난해 10월보다는 268% 늘어났습니다.
